About Shortcodo
Shortcodo is three free worksheets and a paid form register for the owner of a small US business who runs their own WordPress site. The worksheets price a payment form, size a contact form and plan a quote form from the owner's own figures; the register keeps every form with its logic and shortcode and every entry it takes.
Why this site exists
This site exists because every site owner we know put a payment form up without knowing what it would charge after tax and the processor's cut, built a contact form with twice the fields it needed, and lost quote requests in an inbox, and all three mistakes are arithmetic and a list.
Who it is for
The owner whose site takes contact enquiries, quote requests, deposits, orders, RSVPs and intake forms, and whose entries currently live in an inbox, a processor's dashboard and a spreadsheet
Not developers, plugin vendors' customers comparing add-ons, address-verification buyers, hosting customers, survey researchers, HR departments or people filling in somebody else's form, all of whom have other places to go
What it does not do
- No plugin ranking it has not judged on this site's own criteria, and no commission from any vendor
- No PHP, no custom fields and no theme code: it works out the form, it does not write your site
- No tax, legal or payments advice: your sales tax rate and your processor's fee are yours to enter
What is on this site
3 free tools, each working its figure on the page with no account, and Shortcodo Pro that keeps the record. All tools · Pricing.
- Payment form: Turn line items, an option fee, sales tax and the processor's rate into what the form charges, what the processor keeps and what reaches your account, from your own figures.
- Contact form design: Turn the fields, the required ones and the page's visitors into the seconds to fill, the entries a month and what the abandoned starts cost you, from your own figures.
- Request a quote form: Turn the services and their questions into the fields, the steps and the seconds to fill, and the requests a month into the work the form wins, from your own figures.
What Shortcodo Pro keeps
The sheet works one form out this afternoon. Pro keeps the form, its logic and its shortcode beside every entry it takes, so the second form you build starts from the first instead of from a blank page, and no entry is ever lost in an inbox.
Who answers for it
